I got together with the Lillibridge Family back at the end of March at Millennium Park when we had some really good weather to knock out Gabe's 2 year photos and Liz's maternity.Read More
I met with the Callison Family back in October to do fall family photos and had a blast! We met at The Shack Bed and Breakfast which has gorgeous property! It's right on a lake with a nice wooded area on the other end. I've had the pleasure of knowing the Callisons for 6 + years, and Josh and Missy are a duo that Geoff and I look up to so much for not only who they are but who they are as parents. They do an incredible job at raising their kids and their team work is really admirable. The two of them have raised 3 beautiful children, the oldest, Klayre, Khloe and the youngest, Kolton!Read More
Back in July, I had the pleasure of hanging out with the Parsons on Presque Isle and the beach for a summer session! The Parsons are a family of 6, 8 if you count their dogs. Their lives are filled with the best kind of chaos imaginable, humor and lots and lots of love. From left to right you have Ava, the oldest, Cole, the youngest, Amanda, Jonah, second youngest, Noah, second oldest, and JR.Read More
Andrea and Jason married at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Grand Rapids with a beautiful reception at the English Hill Terrace! Their day had no shortage of laughter and smiles. Andrea and Jason selected some of the most down to earth and genuine people imaginable to surround them on their special day and that is a true blessing! We had the joy of hanging out at Jason's family farm for pictures, which was an incredible piece of land and couldn't have been more perfect on that summer day.Read More
Stacy and Jeremy got married at the Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Grand Rapids, MI on May 14th, 2016. The day was perfect...it was cold, but they didn't let that stop them from enjoying the day and soaking up all the love that the day provided. Following an afternoon in the cold, we warmed up in the reception space at the Highlands Golf Course!Read More
A while back I met up with Michelle and Jonathan on MSU's campus to do their engagement session! They met while going to school there and it holds an important part in their hearts. Wrapping up this session has got me so excited for their big day! They are the definition of lovebirds. Jonathan makes her laugh, and smile, and I'm certain even though I can't see it, melts her heart. I don't want to call it, but I think Jonathan will cry while she comes down the isle, he truly adores her.Read More

It's always a blast photographing Graham because he just keeps getting cuter and cuter! We did a mini session at his Meemaw's house Easter weekend and had a blast! He was cracking up, doing superman poses and touching his toes! Be sure to check out his newborn and his 3 month sessions to see how much he's grown if you haven't already!
At the beginning of January I did a shoot with Watching for Foxes before they hit the road for a weekend tour! If you're not familiar with their sound and following in Grand Rapids they are a "flannel rock" band with an amazing sound! They're currently working on their first full length album to be released this spring! To give their music a listen and to see where they'll be playing next check out their site Watching for Foxes

Headshots? You mean profile pictures? Yes, that too! Let's face it, social media is expanding so much that we can't keep up so I thought I would quick talk about the importance of headshot photography and how those iphone photos just won't cut it!Read More
Back in December at Christmas time, Joey and his family had me come out to do a family session. The bonus was that I was suppose to capture an engagement! Joey had plans to propose to his lovely girl, Lizzie and wanted the moment captured! But Joey, the sweet dude that he is, couldn't hold it to himself all morning and just had to get down on one knee during presents. Either way, I had the opportunity to photograph their newly engaged selves and the entire family!Read More
Before I dive into all the adorable photos from this session, I want to go back and do a recap of Graham's newborn session.
This is Graham brand new:
Now, this is Graham at 3 months.
Right!? He's the cutest, chunkiest monkey in the world. I love covering all the stages of babies through their first year but I'm especially excited to see this boy grow. I mean this is him at 3 MONTHS! He's a totally different baby. It's beautiful. So I'm going to keep it short and sweet but if you want to go back down memory lane of this dude at the beginning, click hurr
He was feelin' silly when he woke up from his nap
I've discovered that strands of lights + babies makes me feel awkward. THANK GOODNESS he was loving it, not sure why but he was. #BLESSED
Who doesn't love wrinkly baby feet?!
Back in August Geoff, myself and our good friend Matt Schmelling (hey Matt!) did a promo shoot for Two 9 Two Media and Andrea & Jason were our models! It worked out perfectly because they are actually engaged and were in need of some photos SO it was just a match made in heaven! I can't speak for Andrea and Jason but we had a blast photographing them and we are so so grateful that they were able and willing to do this shoot with us!
We started off in downtown Grand Rapids, which happened to be the day when food fest was going on but we managed to find some spots that were low key and quiet!
Before we dive into this, a warning... the camera LOVES Andrea. And Jason and Andrea make each other smile and laugh so much, it'll make your heart melt.
After downtown we headed to Grand Haven! With lots of great wooded trails and beautiful beaches, it was the perfect place to take the next half of the shoot! Andrea and Jason had one request for this shoot and it was to have their adorable dog, Stella featured and as dog owners ourselves, we definitely did not say no to that request! Stella is as sweet in person as she is in these photos, and she sits so well! We're jealous..
We had them work on some dancing because not only does it make for adorable photos but depending on how long it's been, it can be pretty funny. ;)
^ this photo is probably one of my favorites. The way Jason is grinning at Andrea while she looks over at the camera is just so sweet. It shows how much he truly adores her.
Last stop! The Grand Haven beach! Andrea. You are truly so stunning. I just cannot get over the photos I got of you. You glow in front of the camera! And Jason, you're a stunner. You rock serious on a whole new level that I've never seen before! ;)
To wrap it up, we handed this lovely couple a bottle of champagne to enjoy and celebrate being engaged!
^^ This is one of my other favorites. While Jason went to go grab his fiancee a blanket because it was getting chilly outside, a flock of seagulls flew behind Andrea and I honestly don't think I've grabbed my camera any faster off my hip. Worth it! :)
Andrea & Jason, thank you. Thank you for going with our crazy plans for this shoot and trekking in the woods, breaking out the heels downtown and everything else in between! We really hope you enjoyed yourselves and love what we're going to put together for you! You two are an amazing example of what love looks like and how to have fun in front of the camera together. It truly was a blast and an honor! We hope your wedding planning is going smoothly! :)

A while back I went over to the Lillibridge house to do Gabe's 6 month photos. Gabe hung out in the grass and Spencer enjoyed some quality time with Geoff and Ryan on the play set. I didn't intend to photograph Spencer but Gabe got fussy a couple times so I went over to see what he was up to. Watching a kid discover and play with the things the earth creates is just really awesome.. and adorable. All in all we had a great session and with the help of Ryan at the end we got some heart melting smiles of of Gabe! :)
So much good stuff coming to the blog and facebook in the coming months! Our newest addition to the family, Graham will be next up along with his big sis Liv who just turned two! We did their session at an apple orchard so you definitely don't want to miss it! :) In the mean time, here is Graham's newborn video that I shot & edited!
We now offer newborn video's like the one above so if you're expecting, don't hesitate to touch base with us! We absolutely loved how this turned out and would love to do more!

Back in June, we had the pleasure and honor of documenting Caitlyn & Justin's big day! They had their ceremony at the Church of Our Savior in Coopersville followed by an amazing reception at the Fruitport Golf Club & Banquet. They took advantage of our services and booked us for both photography and videography, so we are so excited to showcase both!
Caitlyn & Justin,
Thank you so much for an incredible day surrounded by you two and all the people who love and support you. Your love is inspiring, adorable, and something truly unique and we couldn't be more blessed to be the ones to have documented it. I hope your video and these photographs are something that you will enjoy for years and years to come and bring you laughter on bad days, reminders when times get hard, and tears of joy when you're happiest.
Geoff & Julie
And without further adieu, their wedding video!
