Headshots? You mean profile pictures? Yes, that too! Let's face it, social media is expanding so much that we can't keep up so I thought I would quick talk about the importance of headshot photography and how those iphone photos just won't cut it!
No matter where you are in your career, maybe the beginning or the end, it's important to make sure you have a professional, personable profile picture of yourself for all your social media outlets. Not just for Facebook but your email, LinkedIn, google +, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, and anything else that requires a photo of yourself. The list is endless!
Whether we want to be aware or not, people (especially clients, co workers and people looking to hire) look at your photo and evaluate you off of it. So it's important that you have one that represents you across the wide world web on a personal level and professional. Not only do headshots come in handy for all those sites that need them, but don't forget about business cards! Having your face on your card can be really beneficial for anyone you hand that too. Clients can remember your face with the name as well as that great experience they had with you and essentially come back for more!
Sticking a cellphone picture or a wedding photograph on a card or any major social media outlets doesn't scream professional.....at all. No matter what level of 'professional' you're at, having a set of good quality photographs that show your business side and personality are handy to have at all times! It's an investment that's definitely needed in the internet world.
So if you think you're in need of some good quality, professional photos for all those internet sites or your business card, come talk to me! I offer quick and easy sessions!
For $60 you get 20 minutes with me, 3-5 different backdrops (location of your choice if you want) and 10-15 images edited including a variety of black and white versions as well as crops for social media pages!
