Liz and Brian married at Boatwerks in Holland, MI on August 4th, 2018 surrounded by friends, family, and lots of water!
I first met Liz and Brian when we linked up in Holland for their engagement shoot while they were in town from Minnesota. I distinctively remember leaving their session eager, and excited for their wedding to get here. These two together, are straight up precious. They flowed through the engagement shoot like it was the easiest thing in the world, giggling, kissing and just enjoying the opportunity to spend time together and to have their love documented. Liz is friggin’ adorable and I knew she was going to make such a stunning bride on her wedding day and that photographing her would be the easiest thing in the world. Let me tell you, it was better than what I envisioned. She’s so sweet, and she was the happiest girl in the world. Brian, teared up for their first look (sorry to rat you out, Brian! haha) and a few other times throughout their wedding day and there’s nothing sweeter than a groom on his wedding day tearing up. You can tell Brian adores Liz and he would circle the earth a thousand times for her if it made her happy.
Their wedding day came with some August heat. Fortunately, we were right on the water for the day so it wasn’t as hot as it could’ve been. It didn’t stop these two from enjoying every second. The details from this Nautical wedding were perfection. The ceremony site that over looked the water, boats passing by while they exchanged rings and vows was perfect for them. Brian’s dad and step dad own a very lovely boat that I now currently aspire to own and after ceremony they took the bridal party out for a celebration ride! The bar has been set high, people! If you don’t own a yacht, we won’t book ya! ;) Haha, all jokes aside it was awesome! These two are surrounded by some of the most loving and gracious people that walk this earth and the people who are close with these two are even luckier. They are gems.
Liz and Brian,
Thank you! What a joy your wedding was! I won’t continue to brag endlessly about how you two are just the sweetest people because then readers are going to think I’m crazy obsessed or that you paid me serious money to brag on here about you both. We loved your wedding and we LOVED working with you. You were both so easy going and happy and it was a lot of fun photographing you two having the time of your life on one of the most important days of your life. I wish you tons of happiness and that maybe you’ll move to Michigan so Liz and I can bond over our love for margaritas! ;)
Cheers to you both!
